Product Overview

This is our checkered 4140 steel M508 Super Safety for AR10s/AR308s and other firearms using an AR308 receiver set. 

This will not work on "small frame" 308s such as the Ruger SFAR/ DPMS Gen2/ POF Revolution/ etc. 

It is made up of our standard, heat treated 4140 steel CHECKERED cam & 4140 steel M508 lever which has been cerakoted green for easy identification - with the lifter spring assembly (machine screw/lock washer/spring) installed . The Safety includes a stainless machine cut detent and a choice to add a compatible trigger. 


If you do not understand the installation requirements of the M508 Safety, please email us for clarification before damaging or breaking the M508 Safety. It is slightly more involved than a standard AR15 Super Safety installation and the modification of the upper MUST be performed in order to not damage or break the M508 Safety.
