Excellent fit and function! Easy to install, works perfectly! I’ll put one in all my ARs with the conversion!

I purchase this kit to install with my CMMG BCG in my 16" M4 clone. It took some tuning, and help from GMR to get things working properly. It was still a trial and error process to get it working right, and these things are very ammo sensitive. It would be more helpful to have better instructions/trouble shooting guide on this website to make this whole process less confusing, and order parts, then discover a potential cause, order a "120% hammer spring" or "enhanced firing pin" from another company and wait a few more days to see if the problem is fixed. After making the .223 version of a SS work, you get spoiled, and this kit definitely takes more effort and brain power to get working. Thanks guys for such a fun range toy.

Worked fine out of the box, running on a 16in Cmmg conversion with a hoffman (red trip) FRT on a PSA lower. The trick is the trigger press, be light enough to drop the hammer but don't pin it. "Float it past the sear and it goes 100% of the time.

This is the most fun I have had with a AR-15. To glue in the weights I cut the end off a tube of superglue gel and individually dipped each weight before inserting them. Highly recommend this kit.

Reached out to GMR for assistance with getting my platform running consistently and after some back and forth I was recommended to purchase the BoreBuddy weight set as even with all weights installed I was still experiencing bolt bounce with my CMMG conversion kit which would cause a dead trigger over live round scenario. Quick tip if you’re having issues try recording your action with the slo-mo feature on your camera, the higher the fps the better as mine tops out at 240FPS. Seems my issue was solved with the additional weight from the regular weight kit (https://borebuddy.com/product/22lr-bolt-weight/) plus all stainless steel inserts which are included in the purchase. Only taking off 1 star as I had to spend some money outside of the vendor but they were very helpful and that was just to get my specific platform running, for others with different platforms this will more than likely be an all-in-one purchase. Ammo goes quickly now that it’s working so I need more magazines to offset my reloading to shooting ratio at the range :)

Much nicer than I expected from a printed kit. Tolerances are closer yet friction is far less than the metal kits I have. Feels like a nice 2011 slide. Slick and tight. Haven’t shot it yet, just adding to a new CMMG Bravo kit. The weights do shift forever and aft, but they do so in a captive dead blow manner. AR buffers should be as such to prevent bolt bounce, and this gives you the ability to have that on a rimfire. I couldn’t tell before having it in hand but the silver bit on the weight is a steel end cap. It secures the weight in a fashion certain to prevent mushrooming or deformation. Clever and tidy. I cannot readily tell a difference in the levers aside from color. Wish I ordered the different levers in case of wear or the need to time it. Gotta make the most of range time. I probably missed it but a recommendation for lube would be helpful. Or a list of what to avoid with printed material. Shipping was fast! I ordered from a competitor about the same time and haven’t gotten a tracking number yet. Thank you GMR!
