Product Overview

This is our redesigned bolt weight with tungsten rods - we've left it up to the end user to add the tungsten rods as needed to tune the weight to their preferred ammunition/barrel/spring weights combination before they glue or epoxy the tungsten in place. Weight range is .28 Oz - 1.2/1.5* Oz 

No glue or epoxy is included. The steel insert has been installed with blue loctite, its possible to remove it but we do not advise taking it out. Please check it periodically to ensure it remains tight.

    Installed the S7 tool steel super safety in a sbr lower that I use with multiple uppers of various calibers (.22lr, 9mm, .300 blk and .223/5.56) and it works with all of them. This weight kit using all of the tungsten rods was needed to work reliably with the .22lr ammo that I use as long as it’s 40 or 45 gr quality ammo like CCI Minimags or Federal. So much fun!

    This bolt weight is great in nearly every way. It's very functional, the most important consideration. It is also a great value as the cost is a fraction of what competing products cost. My single gripe is that the total weight of the kit I received came in at 1.2 OZ, a bit short of the 1.5 OZ I had expected. I am using this weight to eliminate bolt bounce while using a super safety, and the entire 1.2 oz was needed to get functionality.
