This is a 3.25" long, 7.5oz steel buffer with three 1.4oz tungsten weights assembled in the heaviest possible configuration that helps to keep the bolt closed and prevent bolt bounce. 3 steel .6oz weights are included as well for the purposes of making the buffer lighter than 7.5ozs by reassembling the buffer using a mix of steel and tungsten weights.
ATTN: We offer no guarantees that this 7.5oz buffer will fix your bolt bounce issue. Most end users are using an H3/5.3oz buffer weight, but there is no way to know before test firing if the buffer is heavier than the minimum amount of weight needed. Rifle calibers besides 5.56/short barrels/short gas systems may require heavier than H3/5.3oz buffers.
